Right of withdrawal

Consumers have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

Withdrawal period

The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which:

  • the consumer or a third party designated by the consumer, who is not the carrier, has taken possession of the goods, or

  • in the case of partial deliveries, the last item has been taken into possession.

Exercise of the right of withdrawal

To exercise the right of withdrawal, the customer must inform the provider

by means of a clear statement (e.g. by letter or email) of their decision to withdraw from this contract.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for the notification concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal to be sent before the withdrawal period has expired.

Consequences of withdrawal

If the customer withdraws from this contract, the provider shall reimburse all payments received from the customer, including delivery costs (with the exception of any additional costs resulting from the customer choosing a type of delivery other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by the provider), without undue delay and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which the provider receives notification of the withdrawal from this contract.

The provider will use the same means of payment for this reimbursement as the customer used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise.

Return of goods

The customer must return or hand over the goods to the provider without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which the customer informed the provider of the withdrawal from this contract.

The deadline is met if the customer sends the goods before the expiry of the fourteen-day period.

The customer shall bear the direct costs of returning the goods.

Compensation for loss in value

The customer shall only be liable for any loss in value of the goods if this loss in value is due to handling of the goods that is not necessary to check their condition, properties and functioning.

Exclusion or expiry of the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts:

  • for the supply of goods that are not prefabricated and for the production of which an individual selection or determination by the consumer is decisive, or

  • which are clearly tailored to the personal needs of the consumer.
